Higher Education in Prison through SUNY envisions a transformed New York State where incarceration does not limit opportunity, and where colleges and communities work together to support lifelong learning, economic mobility, and collective well-being. SUNY aims to create and strengthen pathways that expand educational opportunities for students inside correctional facilities as well as those returning to their communities.
